The Noreen O'Neill Melanoma Research Symposium
The past decade has seen tremendous advances in the treatment of melanoma with next generation approaches like targeted therapies, immunotherapies and combination therapies that have changed the disease outcome for many patients. Despite the success of these targeted strategies, therapeutic responses are often short-lived due to the rapid onset of drug resistance. Expanding our understanding of melanoma biology will help decode the mechanisms of innate and acquired resistance and drive the development of novel and improved targeted therapies.
