Interlibrary Loan is a cooperative effort to connect patrons from the broader scientific community with information from varied collections. The Wistar Library’s Interlibrary Loan services work through the National Library of Medicine’s Docline system. Within the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Wistar Library is a net lender in Region 1.
Patrons requesting from outside the NNLM/Docline system should consult with their public or academic library’s Interlibrary Loan Department to initiate their request. In addition to our OPAC, Wistar Library holdings are also listed in the AccessPA database, making them searchable from any public library via the access code “Wistar Inst SP.”
The Wistar Library is happy to accept the ALA’s standard Interlibrary Loan Request form for requests originating outside of Docline.
Wistar reserves the right to determine which of its holdings may be lent or photocopied in compliance with copyright laws.
